From one cruise to another, the rhythm on board can be quite different according to the guests' preferences, and the areas and periods of navigation.
When there is only one couple, or when the legs are short, Vincent will have, for instance, more time to spend looking for octopus, or sea urchins, and in the galley.
A light lunch usually consists of various salads, feta, Greek yoghourt, and fruit; it can be taken in the cockpit under the awning, or around the big table in the saloon which is very well ventilated. In the evening, the catch of the day (or more likely the fish bought from the local fishermen!), a roasted chicken or leg of lamb will be eaten under the stars of an unspoilt anchorage, or perhaps you will be tempted by a welcoming local taverna.
The balance between sailing, visits to villages or archaeological sites, swimming and snorkelling, and walks in nature, will be your choice. Generally speaking, children on board are happier if they are not alone, if the legs are not too long, and if they can spend enough time in the sea.
Whatever your preferences, your rythm of life aboard "Passe Partout" will be a change from a perfectly planned land routine, and time will have a different meaning.
